Merriman's Kauai - KOLOA

Our server was excellent. She even took our French press coffee and came back to press it! The Cesar salad was delicious as the cookies. And the delicious green beans were, well, delicious. The pork quesadilla was just OK and could have been more tasteful. The ram noodles were of the highest quality and the spicy shrimp mmmm. The broth with many delicious spices was a little salty and that says a lot, as I usually add salt to everything. Overall but the Fabulousness outweighed everything b

Merriman’s has the elegant feeling with Casual Island in mind. From May Tai to Food... just perfection.

Excellent fish dishes and friendly service. Would be happy to come back.

Lovely viewing the coast at sunset. Food was good loved the beet salad and biscuits. Service was good and the live music was outstanding.

It was just OK. The kitchen seemed slow and my food was delivered warm not hot. My wife’s filet minion ordered medium rare was more medium and charred on the side. The filet was also a poor quality cut with a lot of gristle. The kitchen staff gets a 4% service charge added to the bill. Our server made up for it by providing a glass of wine, I think for our wait. For the price we paid, this was the worst meal we had in our 13 day stay on Kauai.
