Chalet Steak Burger - Koebenhavn

We found Chalet Steak Burger through Google maps since it had 4 review stars my family and I went there. After we found the place we noticed that there are approx 4 steps to go inside. But my mom is in a wheelchair and blind. We had spent more than 45 min to get there and my mom was tired so we did not want to search another place. I went inside to get some help and no one was there. Opening hours are from 5 pm. We're there approx 5:15 pm. Luckely my son and my youngest sister could take her up and we went in. My son and my sister ordered burgers and my mom some paster and I ordered a steak (medium done). Burgers and pasta are great but my steak was rare. Toilet facilities are fine not too bright and not too dark. Wall was black. I don't think that we want to go there second time unless Chalet Steak Burger have done some improvement to wheelchairs users.

After booking our trip to Copenhagen, my brother on doing his research found this restaurant and from reading the reviews, we didn’t hesitate in booking a table weeks in advance and we was really looking forward to sampling the steaks on offer. When we arrived at 8pm on a Sunday in January we was a little shocked to see the place empty, so I can’t really judge the place on atmosphere. The decor was nice, very classy, nicely lit and the only member of staff was a lovely lady who made us feel welcome best she could, but we did feel like we had stumbled into a strangers house to eat diner. It was very silent and a little uncomfortable for me personally. We ordered a bottle of red wine to share and when served this, my brother was expected to engage in the glass swirling, smelling and tasting nonsense, which didn’t go do too well to say the least. For mains we all ordered the T-bone, which came out after a wait and they looked great! We tucked in and it wasn’t long before It was clear my steak was too rare, chewy rare. I didn’t make an issue out of it and managed to get most of it down with some effort. My brothers on the other hand, had no complaints and devoured there’s to the bone and left happy. Towards the end of our meal, a young couple came in and ordered a burger each and we managed to get a glimpse before leaving and they looked really good!!! Really good!!! Would definitely recommend this place for a romantic night out.

This place does not only have fantastic burgers and fries at very good prices, but is a super charming restaurant/bistro/cafe, with friendly staff and quick service. It's a neighbourhood gem I will certainly bring all my friends from now on.

God Steak and burger, tasted very good on a grey and rainy Sunday. If you are keen on simple food that taste amazing, you should check this place out.

We found this place by accident via TA as we had intended to eat elsewhere which was closed. We both had steak, one medium/rare and the other well done. Both cooked to perfection and the service was friendly and excellent.
