Elst Brewing Company - Knoxville

They serve a proper Imperial pint of beer. 20 fluid ounces! 568 mL.

7 grain stout was very good, but it was the only dark beer on tap. They had others but we're in pint cans, and don't want to pay $5 to drink a can of beer. If you're an IPA drinker they have a lot of varieties, but again only 1 dark on tap. They were out ofthe only other beer that sounded good blonde coffee). They have 20 oz $7), 13 oz $5) and 5 oz $3) options. I got the $7 20oz but wasn't poured very well and probably only got a pint. Atmosphere is good but a little too dog friendly as some dogsweren't as well behaved and barked at each other while we were there. They have a decent patio in back but it's not covered toohot in July). Parking can be difficult.

We went to Elst for our first time and absolutely loved it! #1 the beer is great. We had a couple of different amazing IPA?s and a pale ale and loved all of them. #2 great ambiance and outdoor space, cool history behind this brewery how it was built from analley #3 Next door to an amazing sandwich shop ?steamboat? which makes it convenient to grab food while enjoying a beer. It hadeverything we want in a brewery. Make sure to check this place out in Knoxville TN

Beer was great, the place is awesome. the bartender not so much. Would not turn the TV after the game was over, because she was eating behind the bar. She was never really into serving but just there as requested not as needed. the Tab was another issue,she could not close a tab without us walking to the register. It was as simple as we held the tab open with 1 card and closed itwith the other. I understand it is hard to find people but dang.

My friend and I decided to stop in after a long day of meetings. I had bid on a gift card at an auction the night prior and won... uncontested. I get why. The customer service was the worst I have had in Knoxville since I moved here two years ago. Thelocation is a little sketchy. The beer was okay. There are so many other places to go around Knoxville that will give you a muchbetter experience. Save this one for last--won't matter if you miss it.
