Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Knoxville

I've eaten at three different Cheddars locations. The restaurant itself is amazing, great layout and they all have the the huge signature freshwater tank filled with Chiclids and other nice fish.<br/ <br/ My favorite sides are the rice, beans and sausage which are homemade. Great flavor with a hint of smoke. The green beans are great as well as the broccoli casserole.<br/ <br/ I typically get the Key West Shrimp and chicken. Normally the shrimp is small, but today was a nice surprise with full sized shrimp. Its served on a bed of rice and make sure you ask for extra bourbon sauce which tastes amazing.<br/ <br/ This is not a 5 star restaurant, so expect good food, but sometimes there are small issues like the shrimp wont be hot. It's still tasty though and a good value. The servers are friendly 9/10 times.

World Class Chicken Sandwich. World Class Chicken – 6.79 is a marinated, grilled chicken breast topped with peppered brown sugar bacon, melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and honey lime dressing on a bun. Very Good and VERY quick service. Fries were the best!

Good Value Great Service. OK, the food here is not gourmet. However, the restaurant is decorated so nicely (inside and out) that you'd expect it to be more expensive than it actually is. The food is more on par with the Ruby's Chilli's TGI-Fridays class of restaurants but is much lower priced. <br <br I recommend the Loaded Potato Soup. It's really good and has a great cheesy-potato flavor. <br <br This is a great place for a decent meal on a budget, and the service was great both times I've eaten here.

My favorite restaurant in Knoxville! Love it. Usually about a 20 minute wait but totally worth it. So affordable, wonderful food, and huge portions. Renee was our waitress and she was wonderful and friendly. I recommend the chicken caesar pasta salad, peach lemonade and monster cookie. Love this place and hope it never leaves!

We like this place. The sweet tea was great, so was the shepherd's pie and burgers. A wide variety of dishes from fish tacos to salads to shrimp and ribs. A crowd pleaser that won't break the bank.
