Aubrey's Cedar Bluff - Knoxville

Went this time for my niece's birthday but didn't tell the server since she didn't want anyone to know. The food was great as always and the server was very attentive bringing out drink refills without being asked. Had to ask for take home boxes since the portions are generous. When family members have visited in the past they've always asked to go to Aubrey's for our eat out meal and had a wonderful experience each time. Very consistent in food quality and service in over 10 years of visiting Aubrey's at either the Cedar Bluff or Oak Ridge location.

Half our food was awesome and half was cold. The rooster grill is usually a pretty reliable menu items. The tuna can either be super delicious or a little dry. Tonight it was a little on the dry side.It was a little hard to eat some of our meals because we waited for condiments and other special items that we requested when we ordered. Normally Aubrey's is a good choice but I can't say it is 100 of the time.

I have been eating at Aubrey's for many years, at the various locations. There has never been an issue with our food. Recently, I visited the Cedar Bluff location. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. Our server, Chris, was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was crowded for lunch, yet we were never ignored. We ordered a salad and asked that one ingredient be substituted. We were halfway through our salads when we realized that the blue cheese that we requested be replaced with goat cheese, was in the salad along with goat cheese . My friend particularly dislikes blue cheese so it ruined her enjoyment of the salad. When Chris brought our bill, he asked how everything was. She told him that there was blue cheese in the salad. He was genuinely disappointed and said he would speak to the kitchen. He comped our meals, which was unexpected but appreciated. My friend, who was new in the area, may have never tried Aubrey's again. Due to how this was handled, we are planning another visit. I assured her that I had never before had any problems at Aubrey's. Thanks, Chris for truly caring about our experience and to management for comping the meal.

The waiter Conner, a total jerk. The rest of our party thought he just may be mentally a little slow, but I could tell that he just didn't give a darn. Nice hiring aubrey's.
