Prime Barbecue - Knightdale

Outstanding, authentic meats cooked to perfection. The chopped pork melts in your mouth and the chopped brisket on a toasted bun was excellent. The sauce is so good and they even sell this by the bottle. Limited selection of beers so we had iced tea instead. Not so impressed by the side dishes even though the reviews indicated they were popular. We tried the green beans, macaroni and cheese and baked beans. Extremely clean restaurant with really lovely, spotless bathrooms so unusual and they even had a little stool for toddlers to wash their hands. Lots of room to sit inside or outside. Definitely family friendly with a little playground section that has equipment and a safe area for little ones. A real gem in Knightdale.

Place opens at 11am. We got there 11:05. Waited almost about 50 minutes in line to order our food. Expected this so not a major issue. Food is served cafeteria style so make sure you get everything you want on the 1st go round! Ordered 3 meat platter with brisket, pulled pork smoked turkey. You get about 1/4 lb each meat plus 2 sides. Mac cheese was HEAVENLY! Tried the sweet potato salad which was different, not too bad. Had bacon to balance the sweet. Hubs got the Full Nelson, which is a sandwich because he LOVES beef rib. Almost too much gor him to eat, almost.Parking: Parking around back or street side

I have been trying to get to this place since they opened. I always heard that they ran out of food. Well....I finally went, I got there at 10:30 on Tuesday. I'm going to tell Y’all, I'm sorry I waited SO LONG to try it!!! This place is AWESOME! The food is the best. DELICIOUS. I had the 2 meats plate, ribs and brisket, Mac n cheese, slaw, big boss beans. Loved it ALL. I ordered a Cuban sandwich to go and it was the best I had in a very long time. Staff are very friendly, polite and professional. I CAN'T wait to go back. I would give them a 10 stars review if I could.

Great Atmosphere. The food was delicious . We had coleslaw ,mac and cheese , green beans the only sides without pork, cobbler, banana pudding, and brisket. A little bit of a wait time after waiting an hour to pick it up. The staff was very nice and gave us complimentary beverages. We sat and enjoyed the vibe. It was worth it.
