The Captain's Boil - Kitchener

Yesterday was my first time visiting this restaurant, as well as any restaurant of this type. My boyfriend and I ordered the shrimp with Captain's Boil seasoning, snow crab legs with garlic seasoning, and mussels with lemon and black pepper seasoning. We started with the Cajun fries, which were fantastic, then moved on to the seafood. Everything was delivered promptly and was well cooked and seasoned. The garlic seasoning on the snow crab legs was especially delicious. The waitstaff were very friendly, and our waiter was especially helpful in explaining the menu and making recommendations. Our water glasses were constantly refilled. After we finished our meal, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch. The total cost was $58 and change, but for 3lbs of seafood and fries, it was a filling and reasonably priced meal for both my boyfriend and me. We definitely plan on returning with friends in the future. The food was not only delicious, but it was also a fun and messy experience to eat with our hands. Be prepared to get your hands dirty!

I am a big fan of Louisiana-style food, and Captains Boil exceeded my expectations! I really enjoyed the hands-on dining experience (which is traditional in the South) and the washing station was a fantastic idea. The server was extremely friendly and took the time to explain the concept of the restaurant to us not just once, but twice! I highly recommend trying the Captains Boil seasoning on your food - it was delicious, as was the shrimp fried rice that we ordered.

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and the seafood is amazing. I highly recommend trying the Captain's Boil sauce, it is delicious. I was extremely satisfied with the food and the waitress took great care of me.

Best seafood in town! They offer fresh seafood, great flavour options, the steam cooking makes this place a unique experience for the whole family. Please check out this treasure.
