Gilt Restaurant, Bar and Lounge

Restrictions. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, I highly recommend gilt for any catering needs.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I only decided to try it because two Yelp reviewers mentioned that their Korean fried chicken was above average. However, I found that the name of the restaurant was completely inaccurate.

If you have money to spare, then go ahead. Personally, I wouldn't spend a lot of money on food that is just average tasting. The food is decent, but it's not worth the high prices.

We came to Gilt with another couple for a Saturday meal out and were not disappointed! We couldn't decide what to have because everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We went with the butcher block (elk sausage is a must), scallops (good but not great), Korean fried chicken (AMAZING, must have), tuna nachos (very good), monkfish (on special and perfectly cooked), pork belly perogies (also a must have). The wine we had was excellent, our server was super attentive and the ambiance is great in this place. We will for SURE be back and recommend to any foodies looking for a cool tapas/share plate experience!

My friend and I had met up for lunch and wanted to try something new. I wasn't expecting the fantastic ,fresh,great tasting food we received. I was amazingly surprised. The duck pancakes I ordered were so light and fluffy and the flavour combination was on point. I will return.
