Udon Yanomaru - Kitakyushu

I am a restaurant owner in Katano, offering a carefully selected menu that includes Indigo Ale from Nuderom Carreful, and a delicious soup stock. Our rice bowls and tempura are plentiful, and the combination of udon and soba is a fan favorite. Our dishes are made with locally sourced ingredients.

I recently tried the Tuna Bowl Todon Set at this restaurant and was blown away. The set included a mini mug cup with tuna, scallops, wasabi, and a delicious special sauce. The tuna bowl was topped with grated yam, green onions, and wasabi, and the udon noodles were handmade and incredibly tasty. The noodles had a nice chewy texture. I can't wait to try their tempura next time! After the meal, they served strawberries as a dessert, which I wanted to take home as a souvenir. The restaurant also has a parking lot in front. I highly recommend trying this place out!

ミニマグロ丼とミニうどんのセットを注文（990円）讃岐うどんのようなコシはないんですが、独特のモチモチ感があります。マグロ丼は新鮮で出汁も良くかなり美味しい！うどん屋にしてはメニュー全体割高かな？と感じましたが、納得の味だと思います。接客も丁寧でした。

ミニ天丼880円は女性に丁度いい量。天丼つゆはもうちょい甘味がほしいですがお店の味があるでしょう。お待たせしたからでしょうか、タコの刺身をサービスしてくれました。店員さんは感じがいいです。わらび餅オススメ。

I visited the restaurant for the first time around noon on February 2, 2021. There is a dedicated parking lot in front of the store, but the parking spots are numbered in a somewhat irregular way (5, 16, 19, 20, 33, 34), which may be a little confusing. There is a sign with parking information on the store's front, so it's best to check the numbers there. There were already about five customers inside, so it seems to be a popular place. There are 5 counter seats and 2 tables. I ordered the meat udon for 700 yen and the tempura udon for 1200 yen. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The noodles were smooth with a slight chewiness to them. The broth was light and refreshing. The seasoning of the meat was just right, not too strong, and very tasty. The tempura was crispy and not greasy, which I liked. The subtle pepper flavor of the chicken tempura was perfect. Just before finishing the udon, we were served a complimentary warabi mochi. It was unexpectedly delicious, with a soft and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The staff were all friendly and energetic, making the dining experience enjoyable. Their service and efficiency were superb.
