Trattoria Calabrese

A friend who is a regular customer took us there on Saturday 4th November '23. We absolutely loved it. Wonderful greeting. Superb food. My wife and our friend had linguine gamberoni and I had calzone. A lovely experience in a tiny, snug environment. My only small gripe would be the fact that when one is in the loo, there is nothing on the restaurant side of the door that informs others that the loo is occupied! A bit disconcerting when one is in mid flow! Other than that, brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

Lovely restaurant the decor was rustic and charming. They offer seating either indoors or in a conservatory area. The gentleman serving on the particular evening was very pleasant, as was the kitchen staff. Fast service. Ordered two seabass dishes. It was tasty but quite pricey for the portion sizes. The tiramisu however was the highlight a must try if you come here! Very light and flavoursome. Service: Dine in

Wednesday night? Italian near Kingston/ Richmond? We decided to try out Trattoria Calabrese, and man we weren't DISAPPOINTED. From the service to the food.
