Monty's Nepalese Cuisine

The poppadom dips were delicious and there were plenty of main course options to choose from. I did not get a chance to try the starters, so I can't comment on those.

I have been eating at Monty’s for over 25 years. It is my favourite restaurant anywhere. The Hasina, Pahadi Lamb and Butter Chicken are all outstanding. Unfortunately I have moved away but if I am anywhere near I will always visit. Consequently I frequently dine alone. The guys are so accommodating and are aware of my favourite choices and will prepare me 2 half dishes. Surely this couldn’t happen absolutely anywhere else! I cannot wait to visit again. Pleasant service reasonable price Had lobster samosas and bhaji to start Samosas disappointing as little amount of lobster Kathmandu chicken and methi lamb gosh very good

Sunday lunch with Indian and Nepalese friends. Great service and food. Particularly enjoyed the chicken tikka and the momos. Would definitely make a return visit.
