First time customer and they didn’t disappoint. So much better than the main brand pizza places and by far the best pizza in the city.
This was the first time we visited this branch, the staff was so friendly, the fish and chips was like other Papa’s, best fish and chips!
I've heard good things about papa John's so thought I would treat myself. I thought judging by the price it would be similar quality to Domino's. I was wrong. It was cold when it arrived and the food quality was poor. Get better quality food from the local and it would have been less than half the price even with the 40% voucher I had for Papa John's. Will not be ordering again.
Odering a Pizza from my local Papajohns Holderness Road in Hull, proved a disaster on Saturday night. The app wouldn't let me change the toppings, so once I'd completed the order I had to call the outlet to make the necessary changes. An hour after placing the order I called to check the progress only to be told it had been delivered to my previous address, despite being prompted during ordering to confirm the desired delivery address, and receiving a confirmation e mail of the correct delivery address. I called the store to ask to speak to the manager who is usually very helpful, I didn't recognise the call handlers voice but he insisted he was the manager. He told me it wasn't his fault, it was a problem with the website or the app and regardless of where you request the delivery to go, it will only go to your registered address. Well what is the point in that? People often eat at friends etc or go away for the weekend and may want it delivering to a hotel. If I'm away for the weekend and use the app, this means it will be delivered to my house and not my location, say at a hotel. To overcome this, from what this store manager was saying, is you need to set your location to your primary account address, regardless if it is temporary. They refused to re imburse me/credit me next time despite paying out and not receiving anything. They insisted it was my fault regardless that I had proof in the confirmation e mail of the address I was waiting at for my delivery.
