Our family really enjoys the idea behind Sakura...come on...who wouldn't? All you can eat sushi for a great price? Our experience here is hit or miss. The service, we have come to understand that for the most part, the server's aren't the friendliest. Over the past 5 yrs of visits, we have two servers that stand out as great. The rest...ok, mediocre and some downright rude. The food...we honestly find it is hit or miss. Never a bad experience. We have had amazing meals and then we have had ok meals. In the past month, we have been twice...one...everything was perfect. This past Sunday...meh. Honestly, for the price and if you like sushi, it's a great place to try.

It was our second visit to Sakura. The all you can eat deal is hard to beat when there are four of us. We were able to share everything among us and obviously, we had too much to eat... Seriously, this is a good place to try different kind of things.

I would rate this as more of a cheap-eats than mid-range, based on price. Lunch and dinner are all you can eat and very reasonably priced.Decor is standard booths; everything looked clean. The menu has numbers, you write numbers on paper chits, waitpersons collect chits and deliver food. When you are done, pay at the bar.We don't know from good sushi but made a point of ordering a wide range of items and enjoyed all of them.Service was a highlight of the meal. Our waiter was friendly and patient (we had lots of questions) and efficient.If you like sushi, this place offers excellent value and excellent service in a suburban restaurant.

This is the only place to get Japanese food, although you can find the odd place to grab a few sushis. The food is fairly fresh, and the variety is good. The service ranges from good to horrible, but when it's the only Japanese restaurant in your area, you can stand it. They often get the order wrong by bring you what you didn't order, but usually by forgetting to bring certain items to you. Despite this, and especially if they know you and are a regular, it's worth going to. You can find sashimi, tempura, sushi, salads, and desserts, green tea, and many of the things you'd expect to find. They are not Japanese, but their chefs at least understand what you're looking for. I've been coming to this place for several years and it's one of the more acceptable places to eat.
