Akira Restaurant - Kingston

Absolutely terrible. Just the worst sushi I've ever had. Simply not recognizable as sushi. In disgusting Mayo. I was out of town when I opened it, what abomination, I just couldn't throw it into the garbage. Unbelievable... bad.

I know that it is difficult to run a restaurant during a pandemic and feel for it, but let us be real. People told me that this was one of the best sushi spots in Kingston, certainly not. Overrated, average sushi was okay, but nothing special. Better than supermarket...Sushi, but not as good as the excellent Saka Izakaya downtown (sadly closed). Compared to an average cheap sushi joint in Koreatown Toronto, not better not worse.

Great sushi spot and the best prices. Everything fresh and perfectly executed. Many times, I would always be consistent and the lunch offers are the best bets!

Better than last time. Hard to find this small restaurant, but parking for free. Use Google to get there. Had Tempura best ever and fish pizza and a salmon and salad dish. Soup. The portions are very large, so we dogie pouched ....Waitress was owner and beautiful. Just a great place.

The restaurant serves very fresh, flavorful, healthy, and delicious portions that are also generous in size. The staff provides fast, professional service and is very friendly. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
