Applebee's - Kingsport

The wait at the restaurant was great and the service was fairly good. We were promptly seated and ordered our drinks, which arrived 6 minutes later. After ordering our food, they brought out an appetizer before bringing us our drinks and then our food. It was a bit backwards, but the service was still good overall. We did have to wait 12 minutes for some french fries for my grandson, but the manager did come out to greet us and ask how everything was going. Despite the slight mix-up with the timing of our food and drinks, we still had a good meal and I would recommend eating here.

While we were trying to eat our food and talk to each other a waitress taking care of the section behind us decided to vacuum the area we were seated in because she was leaving. i dont care if you are leaving NOONE needs to try and eat and talk over a vacuum. they were not happy when i explained to them that we couldnt hear each other speak and asked them to wait until we were finished. i suggested that they stop seating that area if they need to get it cleaned. she rolled her eyes. the food was not good. our waitress was awesome no complaints with her. other guests were also upset that they were vacuuming our area. we hadnt eaten at applebees in a long time we dont have one near where we live so we were excited to see one close to where we were staying. horrible experience!!!!! never again. i would not suggest going to this location. poor customer service.

If I could I'd leave a negative star. Can't tell u about food, because we never got any! We were seated and never got any service after that. Not even a drink! When I asked for service a waitress promptly takes a seat at an unoccupied table and says they'll get someone. Never again!

The food looked like it had been under a heat lamp for a long period of time. Our waitresses was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu questions we had. The commercial on tv of the skillets is nothing like what they bring to your table. We were a little disappointed with that.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. I ordered the Shrimp 'N Parmesan Sirloin and it was delicious. For dessert, I had the pecan Blondie which was also very tasty. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant.
