Archers Cafe

As regular customers for lunch on Saturdays my partner and I have noticed that the service has got worse. If the owner isn’t there, the young staff who despite doing their best, leave customers for ages before taking orders and don’t notice when customers need them. Today we received our beers but no glasses, then we waited 50 mins for 2 basic mains and a side dish, they came followed by our cutlery. The food is good and the staff are lovely but it’s clear there weren’t enough doing front of house and probably the kitchen, as we weren’t alone waiting ages today. We want to support it as an independent restaurant but the really slow service is putting us off.

Upon our arrival, we were promptly seated by the friendly and welcoming staff. They made us feel comfortable right away. We ordered a Breakfast Burrito and Chilli Nachos, with the added bonus of the chilli being gluten-free and the cheese being swapped for a vegan version to accommodate my intolerances. The food looked amazing when it arrived. The Chilli paired perfectly with the nachos and was delicious. The Burrito was also delightful and full of flavor. We really enjoyed our meal and the overall experience. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is the best (and other great things we can't say). The food is fantastic, whether you're here for breakfast or dinner. Plus, the cocktails are so good that you'll want to keep ordering more.

WARNING FOR THOSE WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS! As a vegetarian for over 30 years, I was initially pleased to discover a cafe with a wide selection of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. However, my experience turned sour when I found beef in my supposedly vegetarian nachos. Despite my complaint, the waitress's apology was lackluster and the only gesture was not charging me for the dish. There was no recognition of the mistake or concern for the potential harm it could have caused if it were an allergy. The lack of sincerity in the apology was disappointing, and even after spending a significant amount of money at the restaurant, the compensation offered was minimal. I will not be returning to this establishment.

We’re pretty much in kings Lynn every other week. And I’ve had to ask myself… why haven’t I been here B4? Archers is a little cafe cocktail bar gem. Today was our youngest treat day and he wanted pancakes… so looking online we found this place, and we are so happy we did! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely friendly host , sat down and within 15mins had our food all at the same time. Breakfast “really well cooked” said the teen , normally we only get a grunt Vegan avocado toast nice lite bite to kick of the day Breakfast burrito No.2 VERY impressed with this. Needed a little more seasoning but there is salt and pepper on the table it really was one of the best things I’ve had all week. And of course we had a short stack pancakes
