Denny's - Kilgore

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it came out well done. The Brussels sprouts were more like charred rather than roasted. Additionally, they served the salad alongside the main course, which meant my entree was cold by the time I finished my salad. The restaurant wasn't busy—it only had about five other customers—but I still waited nearly an hour for service. Overall, not impressed.

Legend Ralph, who is almost two years old, made our trip back to the car a bit hectic. However, I want to give a special shoutout to the evening manager, who was incredibly kind. She assisted me and Legend Ralph in getting to our car safely, and I truly appreciate her help. If I could give this place 100 stars, I absolutely would. I highly recommend visiting and be sure to tip your server at least 20% of the bill. Tell them Rhoda sent you! -The Steber

Legend Ralph and I decided to have breakfast for dinner on Friday night, and it was absolutely amazing! We ordered the T-bone steak and an egg plate, and I must say, the T-bone was the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff was very friendly, and my server was incredibly attentive to our needs. Legend Ralph is nearly two years old, so getting back to our car was a bit of a challenge, but I want to extend a special thanks to the evening manager, a lady who was exceptionally kind. She helped me and Legend Ralph get safely to our vehicle, and I truly appreciate her assistance. If I could, I would give this place 100 stars! The service at this restaurant was excellent; our food arrived quickly and was exactly what we ordered. I have had a few issues here in the past, but they've never occurred when our favorite waitress, Felicity, is on duty. She is amazing—always friendly and accommodating, and she works hard to ensure we have a great experience. We typically visit early in the morning, around 2 to 3 AM, right after our shifts, so it’s usually not very busy. There have only been a couple of occasions when we encountered more than two or three other customers. It's located next to a truck stop, which can get a bit hectic at times, but as I mentioned, most of our visits have been very pleasant. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Fast service and friendly waitress. Food was great, perfectly cooked.
