Palate Wine Bar Restaurant - Kilauea

Wine bar with flat bread, meat and cheese. It cost the white wine flight. Great portions for hungry visitors. Great value and attentive staff.

Really good experience. Very low key and casual atmosphere, but beautiful wine card and very good food. Flatbread (pizza) is quality thin crust like real Italian?s make it. Leia and Madison were great hosts.

Very glad we found this place. The mood is amazing from the decor to the music to the food wine. We had so much fun! We had a lot of good snipers with the people at the bar and in the kitchen. We have the Charcuterie board, the Kale salad and the Pfefferoni flatcake. The food tasted very fresh, and the aromas were pleasantly nuanced and not exaggerated, especially on the salad. The dough on the flatbread what was it?!? Wow. Portions are also humble. This place is also very close to Princeville and on the way back from the southern part of the island. Very comfortable. We will be back in Kauai next time

In Google it shows the restaurant will be opened until 9pm. We arrived at 8:10pm on a Sunday and they told us the place was already closed. They didn?t offer us a take out option or anything. I read the reviews and I picked this place hoping it was a good one. It is a shame I couldn?t try it. I want to share this info in case some of you can?t make it to this place earlier enough. I would recommend a phone call or something, so you don?t waste your time, and can make it to some other place that is actually opened or that you can order food to take home.

I enjoyed my early dinner here yesterday. I had the pasta of the day (Mushrooms Feta) and a red wine flight. I couldn?t help but snap a few pics of my bowl and the charcuterie board for the table next to me. The service was attentive, I liked watching the chefs lovingly make their dishes!
