Cafe O'Lei Kihei

Best papaya salad in town! Everything is amazing, fresh food, tasty, very well prepared! Coco nut shrimp, onion soup, but the papaya salad is the house chef! Very friendly and fast service! Family ambiance but great for all ocasions! My favorite place in Kihei !

We first ate at Cafe O'lei 3 or 4 years ago, and after the 1st time, our group unanimously agreed that this place was worth multiple meals over the course of the week. Now, back again for another dinner and if anything they've only gotten slightly better. The restaurant is unassuming on the outside, but on the inside definitely has a fine dining feel to it. Prices are moderate compared to the portions and quality of food. Literally, every meal that we have eaten there has been delicious. This time had jumbo shrimp fettuccine and the special of the day which was ono in a sweet chili sauce. We also had a tempora shrimp roll as an appetizer. Drinks were strong, fresh, and well prepared. Staff are all friendly and welcoming.

Enjoyed a very good meal. It was a perfect evening, being seated right away, great service, and great meals. The new York strip was cooked perfectly and the mahi mahi was very good.

Not only was Cafe O’Lei able to same-day accommodate a group of 19, but the food and service was absolutely incredible. Travis was the best and went above beyond to make sure everything came out perfectly! Everything was fresh delicious- I would give 10 stars if I could!

Super pleasant dining room. Lovely staff. Waitress was great, personable, efficient! Food is top rated! The tempura was just like it's supposed to be, hot and crisp. The best Caesar dressing ever!
