La Trattoria Oceanside - Key West

Although expensive, the prices are typical for Key West. Our server provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. The restaurant is situated slightly outside of downtown Key West, which was a pleasant escape from the bustling main area of town.

The restaurant is set literally with fabulous views of the ocean. Service was phenomenal!I had the chicken marsala and my son had the chicken parm. They were both fantastic. One of the best marsalas I've ever had. A great hidden gem. Highly recommend!!

We always eat at La Trattoria when we visit Key West. It’s hard to find a restaurant that serves veal marsala. Yesterday‘s meal was pretty good. The veal piccata and veal marsala were excellent. My husband loved his Caesar salad. The Caprese salad however was very disappointing. It’s hard to understand why a restaurant would add olives and peppers to a salad. Also, there were only two slices of mozzarella cheese. Crème brûlée was great for dessert and our server, Sylvie, did a great job. She was efficient and personable. We’ll be back again. Just not for the Caprese salad. 

Outstanding. Dine there every year. Better than their downtown restaurant.

This Italian restaurant in Key West is a fantastic choice! We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered.
