Bidra med feedbackI had heard so much about this restaurant, I just had to check it out while in Miami. It was amazing. The food was great, I had a Filet, my better half had lobster. It was perfect. A great selection of wine. I came to this site to write a review and saw some less than great reviews. The attention to detail at The Rusty Pelican was so good that I can't imagine ever having a bad experience there. I don't know what these other reviewers are writing about.... We'll be back every time in Miami.
We happened to find the Rusty Pelican by accident. We were driving by and saw it on the waterfront and decided to stop. I'm glad we stopped. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and the view of the Miami skyline at night was unreal. I recommend any visiting Miami to stop by and have Dinner.
Great views to match with a great Steak Lobster Dinner!!! Forget Smith Wollensky or Morton’s... I ate my awesome meal while watching the sunset. Miss this location and you’ll miss Miami.
While looking for shelter and a place to pass the time during a rain delay at the tennis tournament, we decided to stop in. We were seated by the window. Not your usual great view experience but it was very different and interesting. The rolls were soft and hot and my steak and scampi dish was great. The steak was very tender and cooked just right. The steak dipped in the scampi sauce was wonderful. Our servers realized we were staying until it stopped raining or until the day was called and didn’t make us feel like we were there too long. An hour after we finished lunch we had desert and finally left an hour later. About 4 hours in all. It is a very comfortable place. The staff and food salvaged what would have been a depressing day.
That clearly saves this place. the hostesses were beyond miserable and not ready to help. I wait 10 minutes outside while she found a place, just for me to find her on the phone. eating is not something special and about price. the waiter was friendly and the look beautiful.
