Bidra med feedbackWe ordered the burger and chicken sandwich when passing LA to SF. We waited in the line and were disappointed when we couldn't subdue the Cole stole for beans or rice. The beans and in-law were both very pale and boring. The sauce was the best part of the burger and the bread was the best part of the chicken sandwich. The chicken was very chewing and barely cooked together with the bacon. Overall, the frits were the best part of our meal and sad to say that we spent $50.00.
Don’t eat here while charging your car. Thought we could be in and out but still haven’t gotten our food and the car has been fully charged for 20 min. How long does it take to cut some burnt ends and put them in a tortilla? At least post a warning sign if you’re going to be wasting people’s time like this.
Wild jacks is suffering because of it's popularity. Traffic backs up from the highway. Then it takes a long time to get out of the parking lot. We had to wait while they called 35 in house and to go orders. Extremely slow for to go orders. The tacos and TRI tip sandwiches are good. We previously would stop there about 12 times a year on road trips between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Stopped here randomly on a road trip. The large gift/antique shop that it is a part of is what brought us in. The smell of BBQ caught our attention while shopping so we decided to eat. We ordered a rib eye sandwich and St. Louis style ribs. Both came a small side of coleslaw. Both were extremely delicious. The ribs were tender and the sauce was good but the rib eye sandwich was the star of our meal. I could eat one every day.The coleslaw was good but the portion was small and I wish the meals came with another side too, especially for $18 each plus the cost of a drink.Inside had a few shooting galleries. The outside eating area was a cute mini western town made for children to play in.Overall a great experience.
Great pit stop to get some eats and stretch the legs. Fun old western style town playground for the kids. It can definitely be wild hahaha depending on how busy it is. If its a holiday then it can get pretty packed, but we 've also come through when it 's a lot slower.Food is really yummy, from hearty salads to burgers to burritos to great kids options, we 've never been disappointed. Kettleman City did a fantastic job with setting this up.Oh, and Doc Berstien 's Ice Cream is a MUST!!! Other market eats, coffee shop, trinkets and antiques, doggy area, all sorts of fun stuff. All the staff we 've come across are great and the atmosphere is either hectic and crazy or calm and low key, again, just depends.
