Mayo Reserve Room Mayo Family Winery

This was one of the first wine pairings I have been to and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was super welcoming and very helpful explaining all the pairings throughout the process. The food was amazing, especially the vegan tasting menu which looked identical to the regular menu and tasted just as good. The room was cozy and we felt very much at home.

This experience was amazing! This small family owned winery makes you feel right at home. Chef John is absolutely incredible! He personally greeted us at the door when we arrived for our reservation. The lovely staff (Ann and Krista) walked us through our wine tasting and food pairing showing a level of expertise as well as warmth and friendliness. Chef John served us some of our 7 course wine and food pairing himself, and was funny, informative and clearly so creative and passionate about what he does. Also, as a 20+ year vegan, when I saw they had a vegan option for the pairing menu I had to check it out! Sometimes vegan option can mean you get whatever the regular option is, with the most flavorful ingredient taken out, with nothing put back in its place. Chef John showed that thoughtful substitutions for specific dietary needs can be thoughtful, creative and just as delicious! And he didn 't just replace the meat with meat or dairy substitutes. I could tell so much thought and intention went into his selections and his culinary creations. And everything paired SO beautifully with each wine that we were served. 10/10 recommend Mayo Family Winery!

We loved our experience at this winery! We loved the wine and food pairings and learned so much about pairing and wine. Best of all, they offer a vegan pairing menu that was amazing! Thanks to Ann and chef for an amazing time!

Drove from Napa to Kenwood with my wife and some of our closest friends. While the wine is great and the food pairings are thoughtful, what stood out at this experience was the service. I've been in the industry for 20 years and have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world and tasted at some of the most prestigious wineries and the service at this tasting room in Kenwood is the best I have ever experienced.

We had a group of 8 come here for a birthday lunch! Our friend planned everything since she was a member. There was a pairing. The food was pretty good, and it seemed to have a real Asian theme. The potstickers and falafel were my favorite pairings, but the dessert (sorry, no picture) was the best. The servers were pretty prompt with bringing the courses, and it didn't feel like they rushed us. All in all, it was a great experience.
