Bidra med feedbackWe visited Mango in London last weekend in December 2019 for our main Saturday night out. We had a great experience before, but this time was disappointing. The restaurant looked tired and the staff seemed overwhelmed. There were three large groups and not enough staff to handle them and the other tables. We waited 20 minutes to order after spending 20 minutes at the bar reading the menu. The combination starters were good, but the main dishes were a disaster - they arrived cold after another 20 minute wait. The staff offered to heat them up or prepare fresh ones, we chose to reheat. The food was mediocre and lacked flavor. No one cleared our plates or offered desserts or coffee. Other guests were also getting frustrated and had to go to the bar or cash desk for service. This was the first time I refused to pay the service charge. I emailed Mango the next day to express my disappointment but got no response. Mango, you cannot rely on your past reputation.
Friendly service. Food was rather average at its best. For what you get the food is not worth what you pay, the chicken dish was rather bland unfortunately.
If you are in a hurry and need a quick bite, then it is the right place. Nice food, fond of their dumplings, but really, unnecessarily expensive
A fine dining place for quality Thai food in the heart of London. Very popular. Food is great. Service is good. Enjoyable atmosphere
We had a fast meal after shopping at Mango Tree, and we were somewhat disappointed. The food was decent but not exceptional. We ordered Wonton soup and two types of dumplings. I have to agree with others that the prices were high, possibly because the quality was not outstanding. Considering that it's located in Harrods, one would expect a higher level of cuisine.
