Mary's Bake Shop - Kensington

New owners since we last visited in 2019. The food, however, is similar. The cinnamon rolls are the feature baked item, and they are quite good and filling. We also purchased some rolls, useful for future lunches. Counter service was good. Thanks for consistent quality.

Mary's Bakery is a delightful spot to visit, offering a variety of delicious treats such as squares, lemon rolls, and freshly made sandwiches on homemade bread. It is a charming establishment located in a quaint town.

Mary's is clearly a beloved spot in Kensington, and we stumbled upon this wonderful shop while exploring PEI. What a gem! The cinnamon rolls are absolutely fantastic. On our second visit, we tried the fried chicken and potato wedges, both of which were delicious and freshly made. It's like an upgraded version of chicken and waffles! We will definitely be coming back multiple times before we leave PEI. The staff there are delightful. Make sure not to pass up the chance to grab lunch and/or breakfast at Mary's.

Their dinner rolls are the best, with just a touch of sweetness to them. And their chocolate macaroons are the best on PEI.

The cinnamon buns are the tastiest! We had them fresh from the oven. Chocolate chip cookies also were a hit.
