Country Butcher Cafe - KENNETT SQUARE

The Country Butcher made my wedding of ~100 guests and we had a perfect experience! Planning, communication, collection and food were beyond what I could have dreamed. We worked with the boss and butcher to determine the best option for a Hog roast, and they are delivered more than to expectations! The entire process was so easy and its customer service is unmatched. The food was a big hit, and I was thrilled with every single selection. If you have any catering requirements, you should definitely The Country Butcher!

I wanted some nice appetizers to enjoy with a glass of wine/cocktail at the end of the day so picked up a variety of items. The Spinach Artichoke dip is delicious I combined with the Fire Hook Baked Crackers w/Sea Salt I am not a big dip person but this is REALLY GOOD, light and not overwhelming. Also got the marcona almonds, castelvetrano green olives which were a nice compliment to the dip and the Hummingbird cheese (local light and different. Yes! It was pricey! But it was all SO damn good! And took a glass of wine/cocktail to the next level at the end of the day. Highly recommend ;

It came with French fries, but unfortunately, they were undercooked as well. For dessert, I had a brownie, which was quite tasty and generously sized. However, I ended up with a stomachache because I ate it all at once when I should have savored it over two or three portions. Ironically, the price of the brownie helped offset the cost of my meal.

Fantastic local shop for gourmet meats and cheeses! Everything you would want from a local butcher and more! Great little café also for breakfast and lunch. Another Gem of Kennett Square!
