Goldener Ochsen - Keltern

As a Monteur, absolutely sufficient. Single room for 48€ Food was a bit expensive but very good. All in all, the people of the golden ox make everything right.

We visited the place a few years ago and were very satisfied. The ambience was very nice, the food and the price/performance ratio were ok. Now we wanted to eat a celebrity there at 8:00. The map was oddly compiled, very confusing with various but expensive menus. Drinks were not shown. We only found matjes with roast potatoes for 17.50€. The food consisted of 3 salty fillets with a cream sauce, which was probably seasoned with the brew of vinegar. On the cucumber discs the stem was still partially raised. When roasting potatoes there was only a small part (potatoes were all), 2 half slices really dry bread. With a glass of white wine and a beer we left there 50€. Unfortunately, there was neither the price/performance ratio nor the service. The restaurant is no longer recommended.

I've never gotten such a dog-miserable fress in a locality from the coupon book and have to wait for more than an hour. We were five and the only guests. We had a friendly service, but we didn't improve it. Golden ox.
