Bidra med feedbackMy favorite Thai restaurant in the Hills District. Run by a friendly family, and the food is amazing.
After visiting this restaurant for the second time, our first visit being eight years ago, we were pleasantly surprised by the improved service and quality of the meal compared to our initial experience. We learned that a new owner took over four and a half years ago. The food is delicious, fresh, and we have decided to make this our go-to Thai restaurant from now on.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! However, if you have little patience, it might not be the best choice for you. When I visited on a Sunday night, it seemed like they were short-staffed, so there was a bit of a wait for the food. But let me tell you, it was worth it. The Massaman Curry was absolutely delicious and definitely the standout dish of the night. The green curry, pad thai, and pad see ew were also very tasty.
Excellent service. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was delicious. Had the fried rice with tofu, pineapple fried rice and spring rolls. The fried rice with tofu was very tasteful and the vegetables were cooked perfectly tender with a nice crunch. The spring rolls were super tasty with a variety of vegetables including corn which I loved and dipping sauce. The pineapple fried rice was also tasty except the mild chilli I asked for was a bit more than mild however it was overall very enjoyable. And all the vegetables were so fresh and vibrant! The vibe inside the restaurant was fantastic and welcoming. Bottle of water and glasses were brought to our table as we were seated so am pleased I didn't have to ask for it. Overall a very pleasant first time eating at this lovely little restaurant Absolutely recommend Gati Thai Restaurant. Now that I'm writing this I wish I'd taken some photos lol
