Stewart's Shops - Keene

Comes with the amenities of a modern grocery store. They have a breakfast section and coffee. However the store clerk was very difficult and made our visit quite unpleasant and much more difficult than it had to be. The card machine also seems to not take debit.

Bathroom was very nasty, urine was up the wall. It had not been cleaned in a while. Terrible!!!

They have almost anything you could need, very comparable to WaWa! Great coffee and made to order subs.

Biggest gouge and screw shop on earth bar none ! Hate em !

Great location for a Stewart’s! It’s always busy, yet always very well stocked with snacks, hot convenient foods, and ice cream! This location is always clean— including bathrooms. It’s a great place to stop before/after a hike. The majority of the employees are friendly. I docked it a couple points due to my last few interactions with Derek. He’s the one employee that is never friendly and quite rude if you ever get a response from him. Yesterday, he was rude to me and my sons when we popped in for some ice cream, but his interaction with the customer behind us really rubbed me the wrong way. She had 2 hand fulls of groceries. He said not a word the entire transaction. After paying, the lady said, “thank you, have a great day.” He said nothing and moved on to the next customer. She said it again. No response. She went closer to him and repeated it a THIRD time. He finally responded with “ok.” She turned her head, made eye contact with me and shook her head. If you hate people that much, you shouldn’t be in customer service. This isn’t the job for him. As I mentioned, this is one of several interactions with him. Great store overall, hopefully you don’t get this kid serving you or checking you out.
