Kawhia Boating Angling Club Inc

I always visit this boat club when I'm in Kawhia. Very friendly group of people. Excellent food and a bar with great prices.

The food was delicious and there was a generous portion. The service was also good. Although the restaurant was not very busy the night I was there, the atmosphere was still enjoyable.

A beautiful new menu. The salad is amazing. The steak cooked to order perfectly. The poached pear and ice cream every bit as good as the cafe in Wellington.

While the decor might be a little dated, the club is a lovely piece of old world NZ with views to die for. Very nice club style meals and friendly service. Visitors most welcome. Come and check out, you won't be disappointed. Kawhia is a delight! Only open on Fridays and Saturdays.
