The creativity attention to detail of the chef the entire staff are amazing!We have had a wonderful meal every time. I would highly recommend visiting River.

Very accommodating of my gluten allergy. Friendly staff. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals of salmon and filet mignon. And the creme brulee dessert was very yummy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options indicated on menu.

This is easily the best fine dining restaurant around. The food is always delicious and perfectly portioned. The atmosphere is unlike anything else in tuscaloosa!! I have a severe nut allergy and they have always been able to accommodate me. Can't recommended more! River Restaurant is one of my favorite spots in Tuscaloosa. The bar is absolutely amazing. However, the food is pretty bland and has no seasoning. This was my first time coming for brunch, and the food was really bland, but the drinks and everything else were great. The bartender was amazing and made sure that we were happy. The customer service was phenomenal, but the food just did not hit the spot due to the lack of flavor!
