Bidra med feedbackYeah, go here, though it's pretty dark on the lower floor, but the cakes here are DELICIOUS. It does not seem like any other new café/restaurant in Freak Street and the aesthetic is old rustic and you do not see that usually you do. And again cake YES. You can get a little complaints because it is not a smoke zone once you enter.
At 8:30 p.m. it was thought that it would be closed. The owner had actually turned the chairs down, but was ready enough to accept a last customer. Embedded in a Now-Hipster district, the shop had a single sign that was not easily noticeable, which makes it a treasure for a first timer. Motivated by the admiration of a friend for her caramel costard, I asked the owner for it. The taste was worth the hype.
At first, cakes here are amazing and beautifully unique, owners have their own creative vision and just at the right point. So if you have a sweet tooth, or you are food researchers like me; or look for local gems.. this place is for you. Ambience and atmosphere. It is a little like when you close your eyes and end up in hippy 60s... rasta wall paintings on walls, people read newspapers for hours, slip Fanta straight out of glass bottles, everyone is smoking, no wifi. Few foreigners, many locals who know each other, tremble their hands when they come. For me it was a bit very comforting to be here and send me back at the times when we were going home to make a call. I respect such companies and hope that they will remain loyal for a long time. One thing that was a disadvantage to me is that there is no room in which people would not smoke. I hope they built one. All in all, this should be on your card.
This is the café that serves the best cakes, pastries in the city. The taste is just the best. We can also have coffee and other drinks, which is also good. The only negative side of this place I see are non-smokers who cannot enjoy this place. But of course you can take away. Parking is not available in most restaurants on Freak Street, so I don't count it.
A fun place to hangout without friends and close ones. Love the cake Tea...
