Mexitos - Karratha

Order the dinner menu. the food was delicious and quickly came out. the hearts that were served and cooked for us were polite and friendly. better than take away their average mexican, will definitely be back.

I’m giving this place a 5-star review because it’s truly bold to open a Mexican restaurant in such a secluded area! I ordered a chimichanga, even though it was lunchtime and that dish is only on the dinner menu. The slow-cooked beef in my chimi was excellent, but unfortunately, the Aussie cheese just doesn’t quite compare. Still, I would definitely return if I'm ever in the city again.

Yesterday, I flew in from Melbourne, and this restaurant was conveniently close to my hotel. It was a great option for a quick and easy meal. I have no complaints—everything was quick, affordable, and delicious! However, I think they could be a bit more adventurous with their sauces.

We stopped in Karratha for one night on our way home from vacation and dined at Mexitos. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the staff at Mexitos for finding my purse and keeping it safe in hopes I would return for it. We left early the next morning, and I didn’t realize I had lost my wallet. I called several times to inquire with various shopping centers, as I didn’t believe I had taken it to dinner. After a day and a half without returning, Mexitos handed my purse over to security, who then promptly mailed it back to me. I truly appreciate your honesty and kindness. By the way, your burritos were fantastic, too!

Really great burritos. Much better than the brand name Mexican food chains in Perth. For me, these are the best burritos since I was in the US. Give these blokes a try if you’re in Karratha.
