El Pueblo Mexicana - Karlin

Our favorite restaurant, which serves very delicious Mexican food. Our favorite treats include fajitas, burritos, and the grande plato, which are often on sale on discount portals. I recommend it. The only complaint might be the high price of some drinks (e.g. mojitos).

I definitely recommend trying the Mexican food at this restaurant, although I can't say the same about the beer. The beer seemed like it had been sitting for an hour with the foam poured back in before being cheerily brought to you. The service was friendly, kind, and attentive. The interior was very nice. Some might find it overly decorated, but that's part of the charm of such restaurants.

Good choice, if you like tortillas, beans, jalapeños etc. Stylish environment, comfortable sofas at the basement and good meals for fair prices (lunch menu soup main dish 100CZK is typical price). It is something little bit different, then restaurants around. Sometimes is pretty busy, so then the time spent by lunch is realy long.

Bold place, because opening something different in Ve smečkách than a bar full of lightly dressed women always requires damn courage: I really like El Pueblo, but it is a place of contradictions. I can't say absolutely anything against the interior on the upper floor, but the lower part still seems more like a tacky club (perhaps it is really just due to the lack of windows). The food is excellent most of the time, but I have also experienced a few weaker moments (fortunately one of them has disappeared from the menu). Tequila lovers will be delighted with the selection, reliably ensuring a memory blackout. I return to El Puebla regularly and always happily recommend it, but it is definitely not a flawless place. Anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine and has a bit of a sense of humor should not regret it. Also, considering the location, the prices are very reasonable.
