Bidra med feedbackHuge tourist trap, 16$ pasta dish is not even a medium sized part
I ordered the vegan lasagna, which tasted fine, although my experience with my server made me lose my appetite. I informed my server that I was vegan as she was dropping off the bread for the table, and then she came back 10 minutes later to say “by the way, that bread is not vegan” after seeing me eat a piece. None of the servers I interacted with seemed to have any idea what vegan meant and had to ask the chef multiple questions, including whether or not there was cheese in my lasagna (it was cleverly disguised tofu). Very disappointed that I was served non-vegan food without being informed, this experience really put me off eating at restaurants that aren’t 100% vegan. The lasagna itself was nice and the chef seemed well informed, this was definitely not his fault, but unfortunately I can’t justify more than one star given the service I received.
This was right next to my hotel and had for most decent prices. the salates were shockingly expensive compared to the mainland, but the in-house pizzas were affordable and filled. I also liked the roasted ravioli, although the actual ravioli and the cheese-bread were forgotten. when they order pasta, they will bring them a strange baptism of unbutted, unbliced brot, which looks like it from walmart that we give the chickens; but I really liked this place overall and the pizzas were especially much. they were also very fast for the takeout!
I expected more from an Italian restaurant. the pizza here was not better than your average pizza chain. I went to a food truck on the island that had better pizza than this place.
My man and I were in hawaii for Christmas holidays. we stopped one day here for lunch. we share a Cesar salad and a pizza. we sat in the outside seat area. it is a beautiful seating area covered by elements. the service was good and friendly. the pizza crust was very thin, which my nj born husband really liked. I was so thin.
