D'Chuchi - Kanton Schaffhausen

We had a very enjoyable Friday evening, here with friends. The atmosphere is calm and cosy, service was excellent and the food was delicious. Baked onion with tiny sausage meatballs in a creamy sauce and then and tender veal cheeks in a delicious gravy and...smooth mashed potatoes perfect! We will be back.

Although the menu appeared limited the range of choice covered all tastes. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and were genuinely keen to impress. The recommendation for the wine was perfect and priced in line with our pockets. The music was great for those who...appreciate Tamla Motown originals but it was not intrusive for those who do not. We will certainly go back.

A modest, quiet master works in this small establishment of delights! The service is exceptional and the few seats give the visit a family, intimate touch. Thank you for the enjoyable evening and the excellent gourmet festival menu! We are already looking forward to our next visit on March 17th.

Culinary excellence, from the amuse bouche to the dessert, flirted with great attention to detail. Great, competent wine pairing. Homely atmosphere in the middle of the most beautiful old town in Switzerland. Bravo!
