Bidra med feedbackI was impressed by the wine list, which had a great selection, perfect for just ordering a glass—exactly what we needed. I highly recommend trying the sangria if you plan to stay for a while; a pitcher of it would be a fantastic choice. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was as lovely as always. It’s always entertaining to watch couples on dates from our particular seat. I strongly recommend ordering the tapas a few at a time. You'll want to try plenty, but keep in mind that some portions are larger than you might expect. Just sit back and enjoy!
1. They have one of the best happy hours in the city. 2. Their sangria is fantastic. Having lived in Barcelona, this is my go-to place whenever I'm craving Patatas Bravas. The only downside is that the tables can be quite close together, and I’ve nearly knocked over several pitchers of sangria because of it. To avoid that, I always make a reservation and request a table that accommodates larger adults. It definitely helps!
I absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was exceptional, and the decor was charming. Unfortunately, the service was not great; however, the quality of the food certainly compensated for that. I recently relocated here from Los Angeles, and this has been my favorite dining experience so far. My friend and I shared the ricotta pintxos, patatas bravas, mussels, chicken skewers, elotes, and their crème brûlée-like dessert, and everything was fantastic! I would give the meal five stars, but I have to deduct one star for the slow service, as there were several instances where we couldn't locate our waitress.
Came here for my husbands birthday and it was AMAZING! We had gone to Spain for our honeymoon and had eaten paella an embarrassing amount of times. This paella was so good and took us right back! Would definitely come back here.
Decided to try out La Bodega for restaurant week! First off, I think this place is just the cutest! It feels like you're in the country side of Spain! The service was impeccable as well. Our server answered every annoying question I had and was incredibly knowledgeable in the menu. Plus it was Happy Hour and the sangria was amazing. We started off with a Spanish beef stew as our first course. Full of braised ribs, tomatoes, and peppers, this was a perfect soft entry into our night. For our second course, it was an appetizer platter with marinated olives (I don't normally like olives but these were really good and I ate them all! some grilled chicken with some amazing garlic sauce, some toasted burratta which was my favorite and then a little saffron rice fritter with an aioli. All were really good and a nice way to sample everything special for the week. For my entree I got the mussels, shrimp and monkfish in a nice saffron broth with rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were really big! That's always a plus. My friend got the butternut squash and goat cheese crepes and she said they were just okay-so keep that in mind I guess! For dessert we got both the rice pudding and the sweet potato donuts. Both really good and unique in their own ways! Really glad I tried this place out!
