Mad Jacks on Troost - Kansas City

Fried Catfish!!! I usually get a pound of the catfish whenever I'm in Kansas City.

I gave it 4 stars, the tilapia is very delicious! When I want some fish for lunch Mad Jack's is the go to spot, however the place could use a makeover, maybe Gordon Ramsey would be willing to help out ;

BEST whiting, catfish and lemon pepper chicken that I've had since I moved to the Kansas City area. I've visited every fish restaurant here and NONE come close to Mad Jack's!!!! I've found my new Saturday fish restaurant FINALLY!!!! One last thing, the owner and employees are VERY friendly and hilarious! They make you feel at home!

The staff at Mad Jack's is extremely friendly and funny. I had a family member in ICU and ordered for my whole family. When the owner's understood that we had someone in the hospital, they bend over backwards to make our experience as painless as possible. They carried everything to the car and made sure that we had everything we needed including cups, serving utensils. They even prayed for us. Thank you for everything Mad Jack's and treating us like family.
