Poor Boy Too - Kankakee

The pork tenderloin was over cooked, it was so dry and hard my husband threw it away. The garlic cheese fries were good but they didn't have the garlic flavor you would expect. The bacon cheeseburger was good and the pizza puffs were good.

Always good, hot and consistent. We live local and frequent here when we dine out.

I haven't eaten here in a long time. Mom had the lemon rice soup, but she found it practically inedible. I tasted it, and the taste of lemon overwhelmed anything else that might have been in it. I got the Italian beef sandwich. The flavor was good, but the meat was very tough. The person who took our order wasn't very friendly. I didn't see him smile at us or anyone else the whole time we were there. It will probably be a while before I try this place again.

I don't like the fact that They don't inform they customers of the specials

I've been going to this spot ever since they opened it in addition to their spot further down court towards 57. I'm so tired of how I'm talked to in drive thru and when I walk in. Always an attitude now like they're sick of it. Last three times my wife and I chose to dine inside we weren't even greeted, just some young kid that walked to the register, stared at us all pissed off, then took our order and the only words he said was our total at the end. I completely understand being busy and having an attitude, but it's every single time now. Other than that, food is phenomenal as always.
