We had the pleasure of enjoying fine Cretan cuisine with local products in this taverna that is open AND out of season. It's a big deal to keep some things open in the winter for locals and for the winter tourists (where we work in the summer! . Grilled lamb, giants, meat pie, white wine, tsikoudia: all delicious, properly cooked and generously served. If you're passing through this heroic village, stop for a delightful stop, you won't regret it!
