Montana's BBQ & Bar - Kamloops

As usual food was good and service was excellent the ribs were to die for tonight, it is too bad the chicken was not, but not the fault of the cook or the server was just rubbery cheap chicken the server took it out of the bill for us without problems. The ribs for the chicken by far and we will be back.

The place was good and the service was excellent. The only problem I have is that they have no idea who we were. They had no record of the reservation.

Our waitress was absent. our food lasted an hour. our plates were not deleted, we had to ask to take them away. we could see the waitresses hanging around, chatting. the restaurant was not even very busy. there is no excuse for the bad service.

Ate there for dinner at 6pm on a Saturday. They were out of some food and some beer a surprise considering it was early in the weekend. The waitress was pleasant, apologetic for the menu and beer items and helpful is making other suggestions. The ambiance was friendly, casual and consistent with what was advertised and what we expected. Given our experience there, we'd certainly go back with another couple for an evening of casual and relaxed eating.

It took over an hour from being seated to getting our food. One steak took another full half-hour to redo after some kind of kitchen mishap. The rest of the food was okay, if overdone and dry. Also, they did not receive the reservation via OpenTable. I don't think we're going back.
