Dune Atwater Village

The chicken was juicy and crunchy, cumin-y and very flavourful. The sides are fantastic, and I liked them more than the meat tbh, the seasonal herbs and the cabbage salad and the pickles, so so good, crunchy and sayifsfying. The house flatbread was very cold and hard, but tasted good too, especially with Toum.

Perfect portions, excellent food the best falafel in LA! I always get the Hummus Falafel Plate and have never been disappointed.

I’ve noticed that they usually don’t include rice in their platters, but today, I found some. I was excited to try it because I generally enjoy their food. However, after taking my first bite, I nearly lost a tooth due to tiny ceramic shards mixed in. I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen—perhaps a dish broke and ended up in the rice—but it was a serious oversight in quality and judgment. Unfortunately, my dining experience at Dune has come to an end.

The fried chicken shawarma sandwich was truly exceptional. The fries were a bit soggy, likely due to being delivered in a box without any ventilation. Nevertheless, the flavor was still fantastic.

Both the Hummus Lamb Plate and the Hummus Grilled Chicken Plate were outstanding. The meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked. These delicious and healthy meals have now become some of our favorites. However, we found the Amba sauce to be a bit too salty for our taste.
