Bidra med feedbackThis is a fantastic locally-owned family restaurant. I really enjoy the beef lamprais and the beef string hoppers! It’s one of my favorite spots to visit on a Sunday!
I ordered the vegetable hopper, which consisted of a plate of noodles and a spicy vegetable salad (I’m not sure what it's called, but it was delicious), paired with three side dishes to mix in with the noodles: a coconut soup, a green bean vegetable medley, and a squash curry. My dad ordered the same dish, but his came with a dahl-like side instead of the squash. I thought it was fantastic that you could order the same meal and still receive a slight variation. Plus, I had confidence that everything would be delicious! My dad and I shared our side dishes, and I can confirm that the dahl was outstanding. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and despite the restaurant being small, it was spotlessly clean. The food had a good amount of spice, which I loved; however, if you’re not a fan of spicy food, it might be a bit challenging for you. The spice was different from others I’ve tried, so even if there’s a specific type you don’t like, I encourage you to still give it a shot. Additionally, it’s a vegetarian-friendly establishment, which is always a delight to discover.
This is a cozy restaurant with limited seating. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We dined here before the pandemic and had a wonderful experience with the food back then. However, this time it wasn't as enjoyable. The food was average and quite spicy. We ordered Kori roti, string hoppers, and puffs.
Great food. Owner Lally was super nice. It's a little shop with authentic food. Highly recommended
Amazing attention and details had going into our food order. Every dish was well prepared, warm and reminded of home meal.
