Portobello Cucina Italiana - Jupiter

Friendly and great service with delicious food in an 'old-school ' atmosphere. Really nice wine list with great selections from moderately priced to high-end wines. Definitely will be back.

Our grandmother took us for her 70th wedding anniversary. Portobello had been a favorite of hers and her late husband, my grandfather for many years. The staff were excellent and covid protocols followed wonderfully. I was however curious about the branzino, which was coated in what appeared to be an egg wash. Is that traditional? The artichoke was TDF.

The restaurant is very nice and the food was excellent!! Our server was knowledgeable and very attentive. The only negative was the bronzino, which was a special menu item. We expected the presentation to be an entire fish with the head on, and unfortunately we received a few fillets of fish on top of pasta. This meal was not what we hoped for and was barely eaten. In hind sight we should have sent it back and asked for something different. Other than this it was a great experience!

Excellent service food colorful flavorful on the pricy side but special atmosphere marginal elegance
