Mom's Pie House Wynola - Julian

Simple parking space and just a few in the line on a Saturday afternoon which was beautiful, location in the city was before the door and down the block. we bought a whole boysenberry apple crumb cake and took it home, but it was so firm in the aluminum pan it was a chaos to remove, see picture of the remains. the crumb was tasty, but we were not thrilled with our taste choice. I'd try something else again.

Been there couple o times and they took the time to make my piece of pie taste so delicius, is an art what they do, then love them for having a restroom and so clean, such friendly staff, adore them!

So good!!! We got Hot Chocolate (delicious) and one of the best spiced cider I have ever had! It was just Apple cider with spices with zero additional sugar...because why would you?...but often they do add sugar and it is way too sweet. This was perfect!We also got a whole apple crumble pie to go and just had a slice. So so good! If you are in the Julien or Borrego Springs area it is a MUST!

It was the perfect last stop on our way down from a day in Julian. The pies are Always a treat and if you want a quiet yet quaint setting to enjoy your pie and cider in peace then this your place.

Best cherry pie ? ever. And their Apple pie is delicious too. The double crust apple, Haven't tried the crumb crust yet. The Apple pie is the prettiest pie I have ever seen it's magazine show quality and it's delicious too.
