Huhot Mongolian Grill Joplin

Good restaurant. a little different experience. they choose their flesh, sweeten and eat and lay them in a bowl. you do not add any sauces to you. there are many choices on the buffet. then they give her the chefs who grill it while they wait. it's going pretty fast. the service was very friendly and helpful. it was a unique experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

The stir fry was really good. I made the mistake of trying the hottest sauce they have and will regret it later but not bad.

When we went in the server was really polite and she seated us to our table and asked us what we would like to drink and she had done told us that it was a buffet but we didn't see any food cooked,,,,,Take note this is our first time at a Hibachi Bar and Grill so we didn't know how everything worked,,,,,So about ten minutes later she comes back and we're still settling at our table and she says are yall finding everything alright,,,,we look at each other stupid and confused and she more or less had to lead us through the whole process !!!! And it was different than anything we had ever eaten even though we created ourselves !!!! But okay !!!!

I used to like going here. Friendly staff and everything, it's just that the last couple of times I've been there my food had an odd taste, kind of like dish soap. I don't know if it's the sauce I'm using or what but I just can't go back anymore. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

My first visit ever: The staff were nice people, working hard jobs. But the making my own recipe was awkward because I felt rushed with all the other customers waiting on me. Plus the frozen meats in the buffet was off putting. Then the grill was gross looking with all the stuck on food everywhere. The spatulas they used were not cleaned/wiped between people's plates.
