Bidra med feedbackA few years ago. The food I had today was not as heavenly as it was before, but it is still delicious. Everyone who comes here, orders the ba fen and the special beancurd (highly recommend both! . The oyster omelette wasn't very good.
Fine. Bee hun, Asam Curry Fishhead is delicious salty Egg bitter gourd is also good. Will be back
Went in a Monday evening. At 7pm, we got the last table but fish sold out, all veg except sweet potato leaves and bok choy were sold out. At 7.55pm overheard the kitchen say noodles sold out, everything sold out. Wow! Taste wise, after trying all the other San Lou Bee Hoon restaurants which claim to be related to the original, this is the best. Smoky wok heat from the get go, it goes very well with the chilli sauce. The prawn paste chicken was quite ordinary. We wanted to order salted egg sotong but they only had the deep fried version. This one was surprisingly very well done. The garlic fried sweet potato leaves was nice but serving was too small. Sweet and sour ribs was also good. Note: Serving of bee hoon is very small. Each large size plate of bee hoon may be enough for two to three persons only. And they don’t take reservations. Total damage was only RM158 and even considering we had no seafood, it was quite affordable. Definitely coming again but this time we will do lunch and not on Monday when they have not had a chance to replenish their ingredients after a busy weekend.
The foods are food after Kovid, noticed that they change the chefs to a Chinese team. Wok hey is good and the hive is dry and tasty. Back to my favorite list of JB Dinning locations.
