Watauga Brewing Company - Johnson City

Wow! what a wonderful sound! the drinks and eating were incredible! this brew/retaraunt has 3 seperate floors, which was certainly a special experience. casual and comfortable outside seats, as well as many high and low tables. they have a dachbar with cocktails/beer and eat. we ordered some pina coladas made with fresh fruits. the menu changes seasonal, so check their website. for appetizers we ordered the nuts (aesthesia! the golf shrimp (also amazing) for dinner we ordered the grilled chicken with goer and turmeric glaze and broccolini (which was incredible) the smoked salmon with spicy peach and jalepeno glaze and it was delicious as well as the teds fish chips and the brawers burger, both of which were quite delicious. beautiful view of johnson city, which were accompanied by beautiful plants that they grow on the country with mister and many ventilators. the drinks were so delicious. 21 up and the bartenders were so cramped. I will always be sure that I will stop at a visit to this brewery. Don't miss them here!

Good food and good beer. We ate at the restaurant on 2 and hung out afterwards in the main bar downstairs. The rooftop bar offers some cool views of Johnson City.

Went there for the first time tonight and was not impressed. Apparently they were hosting 2 private events at the same time and that meant neglecting all their other customers. Waited over an hour for two appetizers up on the roof,and the bill for that and a beer was over $40 with tip. I will say the server on the roof was awesome,and she apologized for the delay several times,but I wont be back. Views nice though.

Our group dinner for our company was here. from the reservation to eating on the table was completely smooth. the team here has really made a great job. could not have been a better atmosphere and environment. service was excellent, eating was great and the drinks were fantastic. would recommend everyone for each occasion. mike meredith

Watauga brewing company is a great place to visit! Whether they come to casual eating, celebrating a special event or simply taking drinks with friends, this is the place for everything. the braupub always has a great beer selection and fun for everyone. the second floor is immaculate and ideal for the fine culinary experience. it is great to watch the great kitchen personal work while enjoying a beautiful meal and can not forget about the amazing dachbar. the city is beautiful all year round. the staff in all three days are super friendly, talented and very knowledgeable for the menu and drink selection.
