Applebee's Grill - Johnson City

Dreadful service. countless employees have not recognized our presence. waited 30 minutes to pick up togo hostess hidden in the kitchen after lying that they now wait 20 minutes in our. will never go back. children driving the square

The service was amazing. that was great. the entire experience was from beginning to end fast and we had no problems at all.

My daughter and I went here to get something to eat after a movie. It was about 9pm and not particularly busy. The girl who sat us appeared sick with symptoms, bored and disinterested. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold where we were sitting. Our server was pleasant and we inquired about purchasing gift cards and there was some confusion about being able to (or not) using the card to purchase this evening 's meal. The manager came to the table and we got that straightened out. I ordered Nachos and a beer while my daughter had buffalo chicken wings with bleu cheese dressing. My nachos arrived well in advance of her wings and they were good. When the wings finally arrived they were not the buffalo wings she had ordered and he had also brought ranch instead of bleu cheese. At least 15 minutes later she got the correct wings but still no bleu cheese! Waiter stopped at another table en route. Tick tock... finally got the right dressing, ate and asked for my check. Total was $27.00 and change. Gave server my card and after a few more minutes he brought me a reciept for me to sign that showed MORE ITEMS ADDED TO MY CHECK and NOW over $38.00 charged to my card! My daughter who had previously worked for an Applebees had had enough and summoned a nearby waitress to bring the manager ...who arrived even MORE minutes later! He adequately explained away the mistake on the check (I guess) blaming it on something the cook did and the ordering process...and apologized adding that his cook had become frustrated and actually just walked out leaving HIM back there alone to cook orders! Maybe an employee meeting is in order. We did enjoy the food though once we actually got it all. Sorry but I probably won 't be back to this Applebees anytime soon though..

We frequently visit this place for a drink after working. Never had a problem with the staff. They're always friendly. I think it's a little more than your typical average Applebee's. I like the staff I like the food never really had a problem. I would highly recommend.

Are here over the weekend. I was surprised at the bill there were four of us and it was around seventy dollars. They are clean and courteous. They could add to their menu would be my. Only suggestion.
