Zacharias Of Hradec Square

A magnificent, colorful Renaissance town square with many old department stores and beautiful small shops, caffes and pubs. with an amazing castle at the end of the square, the city towers and nearby parks and lakes makes the city telč a perfect sightseeing destination.

Arriving in Telč you drive for many kilometers surrounded by woods and wheat fields, some small villages without any particular architecture. When you have the first glance to the Square you can't avoid to think: how is this place possible here? The square is wonderful, a must in a visit to Cech Republic.

This is the main square in UNESCO this protected small town. Typical baroque rural architecture. Unique here is that all the historical buildings there are well preserved in the original style and not disturbed by any modern houses.

Telč, the first stop of my trip to Česká. A very beautiful and peace small town.

The food is OK, the view over the square from the terrace is lovely and the waiting staff are some.of the worst I've experienced in the Czech Republic (i.e. they actively detract from the enjoyment of your meal).
